Sessions

Learn about my sessions by clicking on the tabs below!

  • My sessions are designed to help you feel resourced, regulated, and resilient.

These sessions are casual and easy-going. You don’t need any prior experience in the meditative arts in order to work with me! Anyone who’s seeking greater mental ease is welcome.

Each session is an opportunity for you to hone your mindfulness skills. I guide you into connection with your present-moment experience, and we explore how to understand and wisely respond to that experience.

  • No. I want to be very clear that this is not therapy and I am not a therapist. I do not diagnose or treat mental illnesses.

I am a licensed acupuncturist with a doctoral degree in East Asian medicine. In my sessions, I use mindfulness guidance, rooted in my many years of training in Asian meditative and medical theory and practice.

  • Each visit is $95 for a 60-minute session.

I do not accept medical insurance.

  • It depends! Some clients work with me indefinitely (typically weekly) in order to establish and maintain their mindfulness tools; some clients are content with the skills they’ve picked up from just a session or two; and some clients show up only when “shit hits the fan”—moments of crisis where they could really use some guidance.

At the end of your first session, I’m happy to explore what the best path for you might be.

  • Qigong (pronounced “chee gung”) is a form of mindful movement, similar to Tai Chi. It’s a great way to help you get out of your head and into your body.

While I don’t incorporate Qigong into my sessions unless requested, I’ve created a self-paced, online Qigong course called Elemental Movements. Learn more about it here.
